Super Cone Rubber Fender

As the lasted generation of cell fenders, super cone rubber fender is regarded as one of the most efficient rubber fender types with optimal performance. Compared with the cell rubber fender before, super cone rubber fender is designed with more reasonable structure, due to its unique conical fender structure, it shows the excellent performance under severe berthing conditions with large berthing angles and heavy impacts. 

Compared with equal specification fender, super cone rubber fender energy absorbs raise one more time and deflection can reach 70%. When the vessel angular berthing, the performance stay unchanged. Besides, the flange is fully embedded in the rubber mounting. A complete super cone rubber fender system is usually composed of closed box steel panel mounting with UHMW-PE plastic pads. The low friction UHMW-PE plastic pads can lower the shear loading between fender and vessel and fender frontal panel can lower the surface pressure of the vessel side board to extend the service life of the fender.

2. The performance is almost changeless during vessels’ angular berthing under 10º

3. Frontal panel can reduce the surface pressure to the ship, surface pressure could be controlled below 200KN/m², it’s suited to berthing large ship.

4. UHMW-PE pad is fixed with frontal panel to reduce the friction factor between ship and fender system, this can extend the service life of fender system through reducing the shear force.
